About Us

Just a year after Tri Graphic became a part of Certified Labeling Solutions, Reynolds was acquired.  During that time, two key people also became a part of the Certified team.  Elaine Darabant, who began in the shipping department in 2001, is now our shipping and quality control manager.  She is responsible for overseeing our team in shipping and receiving.  She’s responsible for ordering supplies for all of Certified’s jobs. She maintains finished goods inventory as well as customer requests for releasing products and scheduling shipments. Certified Labeling’s other key person is our senior press operator Dave Bastista.  Dave had experience working in the printing industry since 1991 and he’s been running our presses and leading our team of five operators since 2001.

Next, Jennifer Walters came aboard in 2002 who from the start took over the customer service and order entry for the majority of business the company had.  With a background in fine art and being very detail oriented, she has an excellent understanding of the various printing processes.  She sincerely appreciates our customers and puts the time and effort into making sure all of them are taken care of. Jennifer was joined by Maria Billups in 2004, who, came on as customer service for another one of Joe’s acquisitions, Barcode Label.   Maria is our resident expert on barcode labels and is now building new customer relationships.  Maria is an extremely outgoing individual, is detail oriented and goes the extra mile to find the right solutions for a customer’s labeling needs.

Certified Labeling Solution’s senior salesman is John Richards.  John’s extensive label background began in 1969 as a salesman for Holman Label, moving up to President of the company until it closed in 2003.  From 2003 to 2009 he was with Lizard Label until he joined Certified Labeling in 2009.  His extensive knowledge of products and solutions for our customer’s labeling needs is an asset to Certified’s family.

Also in the office is our accountant Yvette Saad who oversees all accounts payables and receivables as well as contributes overseeing sales management. Yvette has been a part of the Certified family since 2004. Speaking of family, Joe’s  daughter, Kristen Braun, is now a part of Certified crew!  She joined us full time after graduating from Ryder University in 2012.  Kristen supports our accounting and sales department by assisting with collections, invoicing and filing.

Last but not least, our production assistant is Jay Jelicks. Jay joined our shipping department in 2010.  From there we utilized his detail oriented work habits and positioned him as our production assistant.  Daily tasks include setting up paper and jobs for our presses to run, managing material inventory and running the thermal printed jobs for barcodes and consecutively numbered jobs.
